![]() ![]() We watched the movie and really enjoyed it together. ![]() I signed up (on a Saturday morning), for the “Free” 7 day preview. My wife & I first saw the trailer for “Finding Normal” and decided instantly we wanted to see this movie. He could only say even if it is a free credit, you will be charged monthly at the end of the year even if it isn’t written in the email that is our standard practice. He couldn’t tell explain why I would be charged even though it was not in writing. ![]() I asked to see in writi!ng where I was told I would be billed at the end of the year. BBB has multiple reports with similar concerns and complaints. I would never have allowed that since they won’t let you cancel. I said this is a CREDIT and they never mentioned verbally or in writing that they would then bill. He said “It is our practice to renew automatically and bill you”. I explained that they NEVER mentioned verbally or in writing that they would bill after the 1 year credit was used. I asked for what would I be billed? This is a CREDIT as stated in writing. They said “well the account is active and at the end of the year you will be billed”. When I called them and told them that my parents were not able to log in. I asked for a concession that they give a one year credit to my parents. I asked for a refund and they said “NO” even though we see that you have not ever logged in or used Pure Flix for the 2 years we billed you. So after 2 years of being billed for something that we NEVER once used they finally found the account and cancelled it. I had the calls escalated to a supervisor. We tried multiple times after that call to get cancelled. They said they must continue billing unless we can provide the email address that was used 3 years prior. I said I have given you my name, address, phone number and obviously you have my credit card number. They said they could not because they couldn’t find the email address attached to the account. When we called they said we were automatically renewed. Years later we kept seeing charges on our credit card for Pure Flix even though we weren’t signed up. As my kids grew up and left the home we stopped using them. We loved Pure Flix movies and had recommended many families to their streaming service. ![]()
